This is a lot shorter period of time than other companies who, on average, take at least one and a half weeks. To comply with the Law, a house rewire must be notified to the Local Authority Building Control and the Building Inspector would normally need to come out to inspect the rewire. The current cost of this visit is £252. We are fully qualified to Part P of the building regulations, therefore we are permitted to certify our own rewires, so a visit from the Building Inspector will not be needed. We notify Building Control who will automatically send you a Certificate of Compliance at no cost. Therefore you make a £252 saving to the average cost of a rewire, as the cost of notifying, testing and certifying the rewire is already included in our quote.
